5th and 6th
Grades:
Mrs. Laura
Miller

Mrs. Miller is our
fifth and sixth grade teacher. This is her seventh year teaching at Good Shepherd Lutheran
School. She graduated
from Concordia University – Mequon, Wisconsin,
with a bachelor’s degree in Lutheran Elementary Education, and is certified
to teach grades one through nine. Mrs. Miller has previous teaching
experience at a Lutheran elementary school in Houston,
Texas, and also with the Oconomowoc Public
School District,
where she taught a variety of grades. She also has experience in coaching
girls’ basketball, softball, and forensics. Mrs. Miller is married to Mr.
Chad Miller and has one son, Noah, who is seven years old, and is in first
grade at GSLS.
Mrs. Miller takes
pride in the fact that her classroom is a positive, Christian, and
well-organized environment. The expectations she sets in the classroom are
consistent and strong. Each student is encouraged to do their best and praised
for it. It is Mrs. Miller’s desire to keep all of her parents informed
about what their child is learning. A monthly calendar and weekly
newsletter are sent home and available on this website to view.
Mrs. Miller’s email address is
